Homemaking in Heaven
Do you ever underestimate how easy it is to get comfortable? We do. As humans, in whatever field we live in (mission or lay), our natural bent is to nestle down with an identity based on our personal situation. As Christians, we are instructed from the Word of God to BUILD our life on the kingdom of God! That life is not based off of a place, location or job in this world. It’s based on a person. Jesus. We pray that this blog further encourages your life with Christ to be what leads your identity in whatever kingdom building we do here on earth.
our HEART
Alex and Emily
Thanks so much for visiting our blog! We pray that as we seek to use the missional and mundane parts of our life to glorify God, you would also be pressed to use each moment purposefully.
Our desire comes out of two typical lives who have both worked overseas doing missions and also lived the typical American life of working 9-5 and being a stay at home mom. We hope you are pressed to Jesus from both experiences, because both are significant in light of Christ!

Year after year I have precious memories recorded of past January Firsts, alone before… Read more

This Law
I began writing this poem in 2014, but never finished it till recently. When I started it, I was in the middle of studying how the law was needed to lay a foundation for the gospel of grace. It has been an absolute joy to pick up again and complete! I hope you enjoy and… Read more

You may come from the mentality that modern America would say about women’s rights or how submission is a suppression of women. There… Read more
